SIARGAO, PHILIPPINES — The 2026 edition of Queen Of The Point Philippines has officially concluded, solidifying its reputation as one of the most dynamic and adaptable all-women longboard events in the world. Originally launching at the world-famous Cloud 9, the four-day event successfully crowned its champions after a tactical venue change to the neighboring Jacking Horse break due to a massive swell.

The event, which ran from May 9–10, 2026, heavy swell over-indexed the reef at Cloud 9. Faced with dangerous, hollow double-overhead waves unsuitable for traditional longboard criteria, organizers made the executive decision to shift the competition site.

The move to Jacking Horse proved to be a masterstroke. The break offered clean, peeling, consistent right-handers, allowing the international field of professional, amateur, and novice surfers to showcase the precise nose-riding, fluid trim lines, and elegant footwork that defines the Queen Of The Point ethos.

Bringing together elite Pro athletes, passionate Amateurs, and eager Novices, the two days event showcased world-class style and flow on Siargao’s pristine waves. Alongside the competitive action, the 2026 event emphasized a deep commitment to environmental and cultural stewardship under this year’s theme, “Treading Lightly.”

The event commenced with an opening ceremony at Fin & Fin and the Traveler Surf Club, leading into days of intense, high-level competition across age and skill divisions, ranging from Novice Under 13 to the highly competitive Pro division. Beyond the surf, QOTP engaged the local community through the Northern Surf + Lokal Lab Farm Tour, a Bravo Skate Jam, and an impactful “Treading Lightly” panel discussion aimed at promoting responsible tourism and preserving Siargao’s delicate coastal ecosystem.

“Bringing Queen of the Point back to the Philippines is always a homecoming,” said event founder Carla Zamora. “The grace of these athletes on the water is matched only by their respect for the island and its local community. We are incredibly proud to provide a space that champions both women’s athletics and environmental advocacy.”

The event culminated in an emotional closing and awards ceremony at Harana, celebrating not just the division winners, but the global sisterhood that defines the tour.

The Queen of the Point tour next sets its sights on its flagship California event at First Point, Malibu, scheduled for late June. Full results, photo galleries, and video highlights from the Siargao event can be found at
