CANGGU, BALI – The energy in Berawa reached a fever pitch this past weekend as the Tamora Trophy Cup 2026officially concluded on March 1st. From February 27th through the final points on Sunday, the Tamora Padel Club hosted a monumental 13-category competition, marking the most ambitious tournament in the club’s history.
With over 500 athletes competing across 13 diverse divisions—ranging from Bronze and Platinum to the elite Pro brackets—the event showcased the incredible depth of the Padel community in Indonesia.
The Main Court Showdown & Global Broadcast
While action unfolded across all courts, the spotlight remained firmly on the Main Court, where the Men’s Platinum, Men’s Pro and Women’s Pro categories were broadcast live to a global audience. This professional coverage allowed fans worldwide to witness the high-stakes intensity of Bali’s premier Padel talent in real-time.
Men’s Pro Final: Resilience and Sportsmanship
In a testament to the unpredictable nature of professional sports, the Men’s Pro Final was unfortunately cut short due to a player injury. While the competitive bracket could not reach its physical conclusion, the spirit of the game remained unbroken. To honor the fans and the atmosphere, the remaining finalists pivoted to deliver a high-level Exhibition Match, ensuring the crowd witnessed the world-class Padel they had gathered to see.
“Injuries are an unfortunate reality of high-stakes competition, but the way the players handled the situation was pure class,” said Ainhoa Santin, Marketing Director of Tamora Padel Club. “Transitioning to an exhibition match allowed us to still celebrate the skill of these athletes while prioritizing player safety. The crowd’s support during that moment was the highlight of the weekend.”
